Fiduciary Education

Our experience tells us that many companies that sponsor retirement plans do not understand their fiduciary responsibilities and are therefore unaware if they are managing their plan prudently. Our fiduciary review provides a thorough evaluation of main areas of your plan to determine if excess fiduciary liability exposure exists. Areas evaluated are the investment monitoring process and documentation, the adherence to plan the document, the plan’s operational processes, its fee structure, and participant deliverables. If necessary, we are also available to provide fiduciary education so that our clients fully understand what it means to be a fiduciary and what requirements the Department of Labor require them to meet. Documentation of the full fiduciary review and any subsequent fiduciary education will be provided for the client's fiduciary file.
